Much thanks to Donna Fiebelkorn and her sub-committee for the work they did in developing a draft document that could be brought before the membership for a vote (twice).
Thank
you too, to the membership, who contributed thoughtfully and engaged
in the adoption process. I hope all can agree that the document, purposefully
not called "by-laws", respects the informality
of the group and the primary mission of information-sharing and dissemination
between member institutions.
Policies and Procedures 
Email the MDE Prior to the Next Meeting
If you wish to email a question or concern to an MDE representative to which he or she can respond at the next meeting, use this link; if possible, state the name of the MDE rep you have in mind.
Meeting dates and locations for 2012-13:
- October 5, Central Michigan University
- December 7, Wayne State University
- February 1, Calvin College
- April 5, Hope College
Contingency Plans for Meetings When There is Bad Weather
- In case of bad weather, future meetings will not be cancelled. They will be held virtually (WIMBA). Look for information about the meetings, and potential changes, on the DARTEP website and Twitter.

The new elementary
education standards were
approved by the State Board of Education on Jan. 8, 2008.
DADITPIM institutions working together to align TEAC quality principles and cross-cutting themes with MDE standards in vartious specialty areas. The results are freely available to use.
