Alignment of TEAC Principles with MDE Standards

Some of the members institutions of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Michigan (AICUM) are working together to align the TEAC quality principles and cross-cutting themes with the MDE standards in different speciality areas. The results are freely available to any institution who would like to make use of them, per Appendix D of the Inquiry Brief.

The new elementary education standards ms word icon were approved by the State Board of Education on Jan. 8, 2008. All information pertaining to the upcoming review may be found on the MDE web site right here. The submission deadline is Nov. 1, 2010, and the payment deadline is Dec. 1. The review session is February 11, 2011.
